Every price we charge, published: 252 routes from La Fortuna / Arenal, San José Airport (SJO), Liberia Airport (LIR) and between destinations. Shuttles from La Fortuna start at $175 per vehicle, 13% VAT included, and the price is the same on any date of the year.
How our pricing works
- Prices are in US dollars, per vehicle, never per person.
- The price includes 13% VAT, fuel, tolls, a bilingual driver, WiFi, bottled water and child seats on request.
- No high-season, holiday, night or airport surcharge. Same price at 4 am and at noon.
- The price at checkout is the price charged. Nothing is paid at pickup.

Questions about prices
- Are Can't Wait Travel's prices per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. The figure in the table is the total for the whole group, whatever the number of passengers within the tier (1–5, 6–9, 10–12 passengers). Two people and five people pay the same price in the 1–5 tier.
- Do prices go up in high season, at Christmas or New Year?
- No. The price published here is the price on any date of the year, including Christmas, New Year, Easter week and the December–April high season. There is no night surcharge and no airport fee either.
- What is included in the price?
- The private vehicle and professional bilingual driver, fuel, tolls, 13% VAT, WiFi, bottled water, quick stops to stretch, child or booster seats on request and, on airport pickups, real-time flight tracking with a name sign at arrivals. The only optional extra is a driver gratuity.
- Why are shuttles from La Fortuna a good deal with you?
- Our van and our drivers are based in La Fortuna. There is no empty leg to drive before your pickup, so early departures, late arrivals and short local hops cost the same fixed per-vehicle price as any other date.
- My route is not in the list. How do I get a price?
- The list shows every indexed route. Any other pickup or drop-off in Costa Rica is quoted on WhatsApp (+506-8596-2438) within minutes at the same fixed, per-vehicle terms.
- How do I pay, and what if I cancel?
- Book online with a credit or debit card through a secure 3-D Secure checkout. Nothing is charged at pickup beyond the price shown. Cancellations more than 48 hours before pickup are refunded in full minus the 13% tax; within 48 hours the booking is non-refundable.
