- Option 1
Teñideros de Río Celeste. Short rainforest walk to the natural spot where two rivers meet and the water turns turquoise blue — quieter and more unique than the typical waterfall hike.
- Option 2
Agro-experience farm (Bijagua / Upala area). Hands-on tour at a family-run finca: coffee, sugar cane at the trapiche, and artisan chocolate from cacao to bar — with a typical lunch at the farm.
Part of every Discovery day
Lunch stop. At the finca if you pick the agro-experience; otherwise at a family restaurant along the route — meal paid on site.
Wildlife along the way. This corridor is prime habitat for sloths, toucans, monkeys and tropical frogs — the driver-guide stops whenever there is something to see.
Discovery adds about 3 extra hours to the drive: one experience of your choice plus a relaxed lunch stop. Tell us your pick at checkout or decide with your driver-guide on the day.
