Your journey begins at Juan Santamaría International Airport, where your driver waits with a sign bearing your name. After loading up, you'll head through the bustling Central Valley—Costa Rica's most populated region—passing coffee plantations that cling to volcanic hillsides.
As you climb into the mountains, the landscape transforms. Depending on traffic, weather, and time of day, your driver will choose the optimal route: either the smooth highway through San Ramón, or the scenic mountain road via Vara Blanca with potential glimpses of Poás Volcano.
